Welcome to the kludge that is my homepage. I say kludge because the site has no real purpose other than to play host to my various activities and the artifacts they generate. So it is, at best, “thrown together”.
In addition to a nine-to-five I also develop various open source software projects and conduct research as suits my interests. My interests have included information security (covering such vulnerabilities as shell coding, SQL injection, and ARP poisoning), cryptography, compression, and - most recently - machine learning. I'm currently considering returning to school again to pursue an education in cognitive science.
I do my best to stay up to date with what is happening in the technology field and I am a strong supporter of OpenSource technologies.
To run off a quick list, some of my technical skills include:
Of course, like many others, my favorite language remains to be C.
Currently I pay the bills by working professionally as a software engineer. I'm currently tasked with understanding and implementing RFID throughout our corporation in compliance with recent mandates.
My work with RFID has now begun to focus more on the security risks involved with AID implementations. My present research is testing various commercial implementations of EPC Class 1 communication protocols.
If you would like to contact me or would like to see a resume you can send me an email using this form.
As always, thanks for visiting and enjoy the site.
